Ct1 for third party

We are a Trading Company and are taking material from a Supplier and giving it to our Client who in turn will Export this material. Our Supplier is now charging us Excise Duty and our Client is ready to give the CT1 Bond in our Suppliers Name. Is this possible as our Supplier will raise the invoice in our Name and the CT1 Bond will be given by our Client. Is there any other way of taking excise excemption

Dear Mr. Moolji,

It is not possible.  Invoice should be raised by the supplier in the name of customer who has given CT-1 to them.  Further ARE-1 should be raised by the exporter and both(Manufacturer Exporter and Merchant Exporter) can be signed in the ARE-1.

Regards,

RP Ananthakumar.

Yes. My Supplier is raising the invoice in my Customers name and will show Account : Our Company Name.
