CST Form C

We are finding it difficult to get CST Form C from dealers in many states to whom we sold product and charged 2% CST. Though it is the responsibilty of the buyer but ultimately we shall be held accountable if he does not give us Form C despite repeated follow-up. This is unfair. Please let us know what can we do under such situations. Can we complain about erring dealers to their state sales tax department ?

Post your reply for CST Form C

seller is held liable for non collection of form C, he can issue debit notes to buyer and realize the diff of tax with interest.

Nothing can be done. the c form is an Concession form where you need to get before the dispatch of the goods.

in trading most of the companies follows  to give after the quarter end.

currently you need to pay the differential tax to the department and raise a debit note to the parties by giving a prior intimation.
