Its mandatory on paper..bt even if u dont give its ok..many of my friend haventn got it....

Yes, I agree with Tushar, submission of response sheet is not mandatory, as many at both Executive and Professional level are allowed to appear in the ensuing examination even without submitting them but writing model test paper will surely help you in having a macro view of the syllabus.
