Thankyou saurav da, now itself there is so much going on between CA, ICWA.., and now they changed the ICWA as ICAI, I dont know, what is the use of such move, definitely it wont be healthy. Now ICWA trying to protest such change and they are asking parliament to remove "Chartered" from ICAI(Chartered Accountants)... I believe.. thats not the way of protesting for ICWA..

ICWAI wanted to change the name of its institute to ICMAI,but it got ICAI,this is how our parliament is working in this country.

Don't you think its seems very funny for the members of ICWAI ,they will be knowns as ACMA or FCMA,but their institute will have name as ICAI...

i think both institute will protest against this amendments...

ICAI has make its brand value by sincere efforts ,they should not be compelled  to share it with ICWAI ...this is very harsh on them...

Taking case of ICWAI,it is having its own brand image and value in the market,by changing name they will lost their creditability....this is very confusing...

Govt.,ICWAI,and ICAI all should act together to change the name of ICWAI to ICMAI...

Demanding name change in ICAI by ICWAI  is not justified ,because its ICAI who has to make call on it,ICWAI has not to  interfere in this matter.............

I think both institute will successfully tackle this confusion,which is made by the upper house of parliament

Both Institute and its members should show professionalism while protesting this amendment..

I have seen on facebook that ,some of persons are blaming on each other for this change.....is this seems to be called as members or students of elite institues of india? Protesting is our right but how it should be happen,we must take care of this also....

ICWAI never ask government to change name to ICAI, ICWAI repeatedly asking to change the name as per similar international bodies, accordingly MCA proposed to changed the name ICMAI.

ICAI have objection of changing the name from ICWAI to ICMAI, ICAI objections were totally unreasonable and unprofessional, but for sake of downgrading the ICWAI at international level ICAI objected to change the name. For this new development ICAI is solely responsible.

Now ICWAI name will be ICAI and ICWAI members will use the designation ACA and FCA.  ICWAI members will lose the competence at international level only due to the wrong designation of qualification they have. Due to ICAI move only Indians will suffer and Pakistanis and Bangladeshis will gain as there members are known as ACMA or FCMA.

According to me ICAI move is anti Indian and pro-Pakistanis and Pro – Bangladeshis , Indian Parliament also did not justify the demand of the ICWAI members .

I am totally agree with Mr.Rakesh as ICWAI never ask government to change the name to ICAI instead ICMAI.  But the government granted ICAI........ why ICAI have objection, when ICWAI want to change its name to ICMAI........ this is totally unjustifiable.  we strongly oppose the above name change.......
