CREDIT OR DEBIT NOTE

Time Limit For Issue Of Credit Note and Debit Note

A credit note or a debit note is to be issued on either of the following, whichever is earlier:

On or before the thirtieth day of September following the end of the financial year in which the supply was made.The date of the filing of the relevant annual return for that financial year

Time limit for issuing any invoice, debit note, credit note for any financial year

1)30th Sept of the following financial year or

2)Due date filling annual return for that financial year i.e., 31st dec of following year

whichever is earlier
