PLS HELP IN UNDERSTANDING UPTO WHAT PERIOD CAN I ISSUE CREDIT NOTE FOR EXAMPLE I HAVE SUPPLIED GOODS IN NOV 2017 CAN I ISSUE CREDIT NOTE FOR RATE DIFF IN JUL 2018 IF YES THAN UPTO WHAT PERIOD CAN I ISSUE CREDIT NOTE???

Credit note to be issued at the rate related to the period of supply and can be issued upto 20th October or date of annual return which ever is earlier.

means for july 17 month invoice i can issue credit note upto oct 18 right

In this case you should have an MOU with your customer prior to your invoice date.

Yes you can issue credit note upto 20 October 2018 or date of filling of annual return which ever is earlier.
