yes you can issue credit/debit note against multiple invoices but you wont be able to show it in your gstr 1 because i think the portal is not ye updated to accept cr dr notes for multiple invoices...

i think the notification in this regard is already out but the changes have to be done to the gst website so that you could do the same.

presently you can issue one credit or debit note against one invoice only. Hope the website will be updated shortly.

As per accounting purpose yes you can but GST portal do not accept One credit/Debit note against Multiple invoice in GSTR 1

As per Amendment Act 2018 dt 29/08/2018 , the Rule 53 of CGST , the proviso inserted , that the One credit/Debit can be issued against Multiple invoices , but the provisio is not being notify till date .

Hence as of now you cannot issue one CNT /DBT against Multiple Invoices
