I am currently planning to appear for the ca cpt in June 2014. After which i shall go for ipcc and then articleship. I am also planning to do Bcom from Podar college, Mumbai (Matunga). 2 Questions:

Will other courses like baf be very time consuming and leave no time for ippc preparation?
Attendance requirement at Podar college and articleship timings.

I wish to do articleship from the big4. since, college timings are usually from 7 to 11, will they not clash with the articleship timings or can we officially miss college for articleship?

Hi Padmavati

1. I believe that for Baf and other professional courses you need to do many project work and other assignment which takes most of your time and you may not be able to handle articleship and baf.

But there are some student who do baf+ca and manage their timings, If you can manage ur time well you can go for baf+ca if u r not interested in bcom or more interested in baf

2. The articleship timings usually r from 11 to 5/6 depending on the bosses, but as per icai requirement u need to work atleast 35hours a week excluding lunch breaks.
