Hi,

I received the certified copies of my answer sheets online. While going through them, i came across three answers totalling to 12 marks in SFM paper and 6 marks in Costing paper (equalling 20 marks) which have been given zero "0" marks but the answers tally exactly with the suggested answers provided by the institute.

I have failed in aggregate in the November attempt and just need 6 marks to clear and become a CA and after looking at the assessment of papers i feel, i could have easily cleared if there would have been fair checking.

Please guide me, whether is there any procedure or way to raise the issue and get it solved as I can clearly see that even when the answer is correct I have been awarded zero "0" marks inspite of receiving correct tick mark.

Any help and guidance will be very useful. Thanks in advance. Whether is there any procedure or way to raise the grievance and get it solved?

Intimate the same to ICAI President via email..... It will surely help you..... According to your stated statements.... If u r 100% affirmative with ur opinion.....then no need to wait & just directly contact ICAI President......

How to reach the president ? the new notification says ICAI will only look into the matter if it fall under regulation 39(4) , i.e totalling error or when the answer is not assessed or valued.

Focus on your career Rahul rather than on notification..... If I have such problems, I just directly intimate ICAI President...... After-all, it's a matter of CAREER. Rest ur decision.....

Ya Rahul you without wasting you much time on thinking on notifications

immediately contact president of ICAI via mail and if it is their genuine mistake

the notification issued by ICAI has to be overruled

i had called their examination department, and they asked me to make a representation via email but then also said you have signed an declaration/ undertaking with us, so just be careful before emailing us the details. what shud i interpret from this? am i also not allowed to raise my query with the institute? please guide whether am i allowed to write a mail or is this also not allowed because of the declaration signed?

Read terms & conditions of Declaration properly once again..... If there is no fault on ur side, proceed with further direct intimation to ICAI President. ICAI Exam Deptt. is under ICAI President.
