In the ITR-4, assessees are required to mention Code of the Nature of Business, as per the list given in the Instructions. Please suggest me which is the appropriate Code for a software consultant who received Form16A under section 194J

I dont have any other income or expenses, Do I need to fill Balance sheet and Profit Loss sheet in the Excel utility of ITR-4

File ITR - 4 as you have earned professional income. In your case select the Code 0607 (Other). If your Income is less than Rs. 120000, then there is no need to prepare Balance Sheet and a Profit & loss A/c.

Let me know that u replied that income is less than Rs. 120000 so no need to prepare B/s and P&l
here income means Gross icnome or Total income or Net income or Taxable Income
please clarify the doubt ?
