To put it in layman's term, u can say 'Corporate Finance is a department which deals with any financial information which the top management seeks to assist it in a decision making process. It can be anything, from simple ratio analysis to complex valuation tools.

Ofcourse u can...U can do MBA(Fin), CA/CMA/CFA. Any of these qualifications will land u a good job in corporate finance.
