Convert number into text in excel

hi

Can anybody tell me a formula for converting number into text format in Excel.

e.r.12000 output should be

Rs. Twelve Thousand Only

There is nothing in excel to convert no. into excel except one function of =BAHTTEXT but not in eglish. you have to make program in macro

Hi, For this type of conversion u wiil have to visit website www.asap- utilities.com and download the toolbar. After Downloading, Go to option numbers and select spell number. if u still dont get it let me know. regards Siddharth

I have the EXCEL file which can convert and show numbers in Ruppes upto 99 crores. (Some other files give only number or text in Dollars).

need  formula for converting no. value in Text

Rs. 100   As One hundred only.

Is it posible in ecel.

Here is the attched file helps you to covert numaric value in alphabet. pls go to Toos> Macro>visual basic editor and copy the matter in your excel file's Visual basic then it will work
