This is Pasupathy, I am studying PEE II, my registration Number SRO00174556. I am cleared 2nd group papers in Nov 2006 exam (172 marks).  I got the exemption in Accounts paper in Nov 2008 exam ( 69marks)
 
1. What is the procedure Convert the old scheme to new scheme. 
 
2.  How to register the IPCC, and fees amount
 
3.  When i will appear the IPCC exam.
 
4.  Accounts exemptions paper i will claim in IPCC course.
 
5.  Now How many papers i will  write in IPCC

hi

1.you must go to icai site and in this procedure regarding conversion is described.

one form also download from there (conversion form from pe-2 to ipcc).

2. fees is near about 2500 rs.

3. in nov.2010

4.i think no bcoz it is valid only for next 2 attempts only.

5. no limit up till defined by icai.

Details regarding Procedure,Fee for Conversion from CA PE-2 to IPCC

All  students  who  have  been  registered  for  the  Intermediate/  Professional  Education  (Course-II) under  Regulation  28A  of  the  Chartered  Accountants  Regulations,  1988  are  hereby  informed  that last Professional  Education (Examination  – II) has been discontinued with the culmination of  the May,  2010  examination.  Students  who  wish  to  pursue  the  chartered  accountancy  course  are required  to  switchover  to  Integrated  Professional  Competence  Course  (IPCC)  by  submitting   the following  to  the  respective  Regional  Offices  from  where  previous  registration  was  done,  for conversion to IPCC:  1.  Fill and submit the prescribed form for shifting from Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course  –  II)  to  Integrated  Professional  Competence  Course  (IPCC).  Form  for  switchover supplied  alongwith  IPCC  Prospectus  or  can  be  downloaded  from  the  following  link: https://www.icai.org/resource_file/14650IPCC_Converson_Form.pdf or  from  www.icai.org>Students  >  Course  Registration  Form  >  Professional  Education  [PE-II]  –  IPCC  Conversion Form. 2.  Pay the prescribed fee as shown below alongwith the filled in form. Those students who have passed one of the groups earlier, as above, will have to register for both groups of IPCC and have to appear and pass under ‘Unit Scheme’ of IPCE. Details of ‘Units’ are given hereunder.  Students who have got exemption by securing 60% and above marks will get exemption in the corresponding paper/s for the unexpired period in IPCE. Full details are also available in IPCC Prospectus and in IPCC Examination application form.  All such students to provide a copy of marks statement received from the Examination division as proof of having passed one of the groups in CA Intermediate (under para 2A of Schedule ‘B’)/ Professional Education (Examination – II).  7. Attested copy of marks statement of qualifications obtained between registration to CA Intermediate/ Professional Education (Examination-II) and switchover to Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC), if any.  8. All students registered for the Professional Education (Course-II) under Regulation 28A of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 either through graduation route or Entrance/Foundation/ Professional Education (Examination – I) route should switch over to IPCC. 9. As per the Announcement dated February 5, 2010, students who switchovers or have switchedover from CA Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course– II) to Integrated  Professional Competence Course (IPCC) and have completed minimum period of nine months from the date of registration in Professional Education (Course – II) are exempted from undergoing nine months study course period in Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC). 10. However, students who switchover from CA Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course–II) to Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) should successfully complete 35 hours Orientation Programme and also 100 hours Information Technology Training, if required,before the commencement of relevant Integrated Professional Competence Examination(IPCE).

As we all are aware that Professional Education – II Course (PE-II) course has been discontinued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with the end of the May, 2010 examination, please find below the detailed and compulsory procedure regarding conversion from P.E.-II to IPCC for your reference and record. Current Articleship Training Rule for PE-II passed students

 

Students, who have passed PE-II examination held in May, 2010 are eligible for registration of three years of articled training immediately provided they have successfully completed the course on Compulsory Computer Training (CCT) or Information Technology Training (ITT). Such students shall be eligible to appear in the Final Examination during the last 12 months of their articled training.

 

 

PROCEDURE REGARDING CONVERSION FROM P.E.-II TO IPCC


All students, who have been registered for the Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course -II) under Regulation 28A of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988,
who have not yet passed /are not able to clear the PE-II examination held in May, 2010 and want conversion from P.E.-II to IPCC are required to take the following steps and furnish the following to the respective Regional Offices i.e. where previous registration was done:

 

SUBMISSION OF PRESCRIBED FORM

 

1. Fill and submit the prescribed form for shifting from Intermediate/ Professional Education (Course – II) to Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC).

8. Students who have passed one of the groups under CA Intermediate (under para 2A of Schedule ‘B’) Professional Education (Examination – II) will get paper wise exemption (NOT group wise exemption) in the Integrated Professional Education Examination (IPCE).

 

Those students who have passed one of the groups earlier, as above, will have to register for both groups of IPCC and have to appear and pass under ‘Unit Scheme’ of IPCE. Details of ‘Units’ are given below:
