I want to convert from ipcc to ipc, I already gave my degree B.Com(comp) final year exam and waiting for the results which are likely to be announced by the end of May 2013. I also given ipc may 2013 exams, I also completed ITT and orientation programe, here, I want to know, that, if I convert from ipcc to ipc and start articles from june 1, 2013, and if I qualify both groups in ipc exams, which I gave in may 2013, will my articles remain valid ? do I have to write ipc again as I have converted from ipcc to ipc, because as per ipc rules students should undergo articles and should write the ipc exam after completing 9 months of articles in which 8 months is the study period. I hope that I'll receive the solution for my query.

My Suggestion would be that wait for another one and half months or so for your ipcc results so that you can clearly see what you have to do after that.
Starting articleship as of now will be equal if you start in august(after passing grp I or both), becoz both fetch the same final attemt. i.e, May'16 final exams.
If you really want to opt for conversion now, then you can download all the requisite forms from Website and you can easily convert yourslef, the only thing whcih you have to through will be the articleship(mandatory if converted via graduation/Direct entry).
As far as passing criteria is concerned, If a student clears the group(s), he is not suppos to attempt again for that group(s), so don't worry.
And ICAI knows all these permutation and combinations.
So go with it if you really think it's worthy.
Results will be announced in august, so you can as per your wish register now and can strt officially your articles 
.
One perspective can also be, if you are unable to clear your ipcc in august, then your afresh conversion is there, as you strted off with articles and will be able to give exams directly in may2014(IPC).

from ipcc to ipc and i have completed my grads in the year 2010 with 51% and i cleared my cpt exam on june 2010.
