Conversion from CPT route to Direct entry.

I am also facing this same situation in 2016.
so i am the right person to this....
Dont bother about anything,things are going really well when our hardwork joins...
NOW
First you are freely convert your registration to direct entry scheme by filling related aplication manually which is available in our website by paying Rs.500 (changed may be check once) in DD as conversion fee..
Then you are also eligible to joining articles in this march only...
By this process of conversion students are directly attempt immediate attempt i.e
May 2020 in your case....
The restriction for 9 months articleship is not aplicable to you....
And also you have got exepmtion so if you are getting exemption BEFORE 2018 NOV then your exemption is EXPIRED otherwise your exepmtion also tranfered to 2020MAY.
And you have to apply MAY2020 exam directly in ICAI EXAM site as usually..
There is no risks invovled in this process
so go through it...
But clear inter as soon as possible that mean 1 year of articles is best time only

Jeya, even i am into the same situation and today if I'm also here in comment section its bcz I too wanted to know the risks and consequences involved in conversion. I'm very tensed. I even have made up my mind to start articleship , but just few days ago I dropped it when I got to know what consequences n hardships I would face if I join b4 may attempt. Ex. No. Of leaves for may attempt, study management with articleship ( as i haven't clear either of grps of ipcc) nd above that 9motnh eligibility criteria isnot for us that gave me sigh of relief, hence i was very panicking last night whether to start articleship or not. Now I'm very clear in mind. I'm doin dummy for 3months till may st tempt n I will study hard for may attempt n will clear it anyhow..ill have to. No choice

Its an easy process. Go on new SSP portal at ICAI site, login to it. Choose Student Cycle option out of 2options( student cycle and articleship cycle). There you'll get the option of conversion from cpt route to direct entry. Complete all the formalities properly.

SIR I also want to convert to direct route after many failed attempts in CA INTERMEDIATE NEW EXAM and i also complete IT+OT..  how can i convert from cpt to directl route and do i need to complete it+ot once again

Sir, I would like to convert my ca cpt registration to direct entry. But I have filled my exam form for may 2021.  Am I eligible to convert now? 

I also want to convert CPT ROUTE to direct entry but i couldn't find any form on ssp, anyone please help me. I have cleared my CPT but after few unsuccessful attempt at intermediate ,now i want to take direct entry so that i can start my articalship immediately. Please anyone tell me the procedure.

Hi jeya sundari iam in the same situation now and I planned to join articleship through direct entry .I have recently completed my graduation and wrote July 2021 ca inter exams, if I convert, Iam eligible to write Dec 2021 if got any exemption in July 2021 exams is it carry forward to Dec 2021 exams. Can u pls share ur  your experience of converting through direct entry

I applied for conversion thriugh ssp portal, it got approved in 15 days, but I don't see any changes in my ssp portal, just my coirse registration date changed, i am not sure whether i got converted to direct entry or not?.
