confusion

hello

im sohil.i've cleared cpt in june'09 sroced 160 and 90%marks in 12th ISC.

i m appearing for ipcc may'10.i went for coaching through out. in the crucial period i lost 1 month to study coz of bad health and i m planning to give only 1st group. i've 1 query that if i clear the 1st group then articleship will start but what after that?? will i be elligible to get my self registered to give the finals??and within what time period can i give the second group of IPCC..pls help..!!!
