In my view, both are same. But as I know reliance scanners are good because it contains almost nearly 20years solved papers.

dear friends go for reliance compiler being the new edition is having the 2011 nov paper solved and with past yrs Q&A u will also get important provision at a glance chapter wise..........so no confusion go with the compiler

You can prefer Practice Mannual (PM) from institute, because it is a compilation of previous exam question. Reliance Complier and Scanner are the same. With the PM you will benefit with Institute's expected answer pattern and if you practice it writting that will be enough to clear the exam.......!

You can opt for reliance compiler plus Practise manuals which will serve your purpose

 Study throughly institutes study material and Purhcase institutes practice manual 

My personal advice to go with reliance compilation..it is reliable and also give lots of variation in sums which will definately help you at the time of exams
