For may 14 all the ammendments till October 31th 2014 will be applicable I.e 6 months before exam
I personally feel Munish Bhandari book is good
First complete ur stuff from bare act and institute module..then refer Munish Bhandari
Institute module contains all detailed provisions with rules.
Companies Act 13 is a rule driven act so go thru rules carefully...
