Uncommuted Pension is fully taxable for govt. or non-govt. employee.

Commuted Pension is exempt in the hands of Govt. Employee and a certain amount is exempt in the hands of a Non-Govt. Employee depending on the fact that whether he is receiving Gratuity or not.

Please file the ITR-1 for reporting the Pension Income as it is treated as the Salary Income. To report the exempt income you have to go to the column after the tax details. You have to select from the dropdown and put the amount.
