Hi,
pls tell me when this commencement of business certificate is issued by ROC in which case and which company
is it meant for Limited Company or for Pvt. Limited Company.
Please clarify.

Commencement of Business Certificate from ROC

Hi Praveen,
COB is required by a Public company as desired by Section 149 of the Companies Act, 1956. Only after getting COB from ROC public company can commence its business.
For a Private Company there is no need to collect COB.
For more details study Section 149 and revert if you face any kind of problem.
