coaching classes killing ur result

"targeting" is a negative word. Coaching is not necessary. But i use coaching so that we can learn faster and we can solve our doubts personally which in self-study we can't. Self study means more permanent knowledge;is retained in our memory more; but i feel that it takes more time for self-study and we have hectic articleship; and the concepts we might remember may be wrong because we are learning such a technical subject and language is often ambiguous.In the end, it depends what is ur comfort level and which classes do u take. I don't think we can "mug up" in CA course. The syllabus is so vast. I feel what Chopra is doing reflects his sick mentality.

I agree with you. Rote learning  is of no help in the long run...

 

But, about the coaching classes issue, I think its important to take coaching from a good teacher.

For instance, Mr. Praveen Sharma. Teachers like him have immense knowledge and experience. Practically, each one of us can study at home and give exams, but to get a professional viewpoint about the topics in course makes us feel like we are sitting in a virtual office and solving client's cases. 

 

What needs to be changed, primarily, is our attitude towards examinations. 

 

Personally, I dont see any harm in taking coaching classes if one considers them as knowledge upgraders and not rote learning sessions.

if they hve to target coaching classes then they should target the members who are teaching

Na hi they are providing us platform to expose ourself to good knowledge and practcal life

and na hi their study material is updated 

they how can he say that we will target student of coaching classes agar student waha se padha to ???

well i think it depends on the student wat he needs 

but one who for the sake of maintaining the trend that it is compulsary to take coaching should need to change his thinking 

best study is self study if done from the best self study books which are suggested by the ICAI 

sorry mr. ravi but my view is different , i can send few good questions which most of the student cant solve without proper guidance, and i am sure because i teach and i know about the  level of students.

Coaching is good but not essential.

Coaching under private tutors who have brilliant expertise is a boon rather Classes teaching 100 students at a time.

Interest factor counts a lot in CA studies and once you are grabbed into the details no coaching is required.

Nice to know that many rankholders have actually made to the top by themself.

 

Previously  the people are blaming UPA and a contraversory hero . He left but the contravention is still continue. The result was poor and it s a fact. There are many reason for poor result . Main reason for poort result is Economic condition and second reason for low passing % were more studetns were appearing the CA course, more students writing final exam. Coaching is required as an aid and never ever depend wholy for cocahing class and become coaching cocoon. Select the subject which are you are so weak or targeting an exemption. Secondly , before attending the class you need to have a basic knewledge of the subject.

So i request you stop blaming  anyone. If you are going to write the exam think about studies and clear

but icai needs to think that coaching is not the main problem

and it is the fact that only few people are there who are member of council and they repeat their tenure after evert 2-3 years

so they do not have any reason for keeping the result at a higher percentage now '

I am an advocate of all coaching classes. There are ,for obvious reasons, black sheep in the big farm. I like attending coaching class not to ogle at s*xy girls(final mein s*xy girls kamm hi milenge); but because my teachers help me understand the subject better, in an exam oriented way and many times share their professional experience with us relating to the topic. Does our principal at the firm do this? Never(in 99pc case). My CA says," don't get the illusion that i am keeping articles for teaching. This is a business and i am not social worker or teacher." Even if he shares with me 1 example/experiene in the field of Income Tax; i will shave my head and beard.Kasam se! And to Ravi bhaiyaa; in many of my earlier post; i have alleged the same thing about the children of council members. Sirf unke bete,betiyan hi CA bane. In uttam agarwal's family;there are more than 30 CAs.He claimed that in 2009.We need an Supreme Court intervention to check into results debacle. there is no hope from Central govt; as our union minister Salman is more interested in woman CAs.

Can u give me some names who passed CA without coaching? I also want to do self study only but sometime i got scared and demotivated when I see people around me for running behind coaching classes?

Agree wd u ... all that we , as students, can do is to understand what the instt wants from us....how it comes to know from our answer sheets that we have taken coachings...and then after understanding the phychy of the Instt, fill the gaps with the requisite knowledge and prove our worth !!!
