Our company needs a "Clearance Certificate" from Sales Tax Dept., Chennai, stating there are no dues as on date.
How do i apply for the same? Whom do i contact? Is there form to be filed in the regard?

You can approach the VATO of your concerned ward with all updated returns and tax deposit proofs ......as per the provisions of Tamilnadu VAT ACT & CST ACT ......
If they will not issue there must be some circular .for non requirement of the same .....for some specific puposes ....
