You can approach the VATO of your concerned ward with all updated returns and tax deposit proofs ......as per the provisions of Tamilnadu VAT ACT & CST ACT ......

If they will not issue there must be some circular .for non requirement of the same .....for  some specific puposes ....

I do have a similar requirement of obtaining  Clearance Certificate" from Sales Tax Dept., in HARYANA, stating there are no dues as on date. How do i apply for the same? Any idea on circular stating its non requirement would also help
