According to the rules of ICSI u need not to attend this program but if u already submit the fees then u hav a option to attend this program.For more clarification contact CS office.

my friend told me that since i registered for my  professional programme on feb'2010...

i need to attend this training ...

Moreover it s applicable for all students who have registered on or after sep,1,2009....

Yes my frnd u need not to attend this program. You can go directly for your training....

yesterday i  went to sirc head quarters...to clarify regarding this issue..they told only EDP as against TOP....he told tat i can join articles ..but need to complete it atleast before the training period ends..

Can CS articleship and professional (Final) Exam be done at the same time i.e. Can I appear for the exam while pursuing Articleship?

Yes manisha you can do so....there is no restriction on it...

Technically you do not need to attend EDP as you have registered yourself before Sep, 2009. Surely they'll forfeit your fee. But bro i'd suggest you to go for EDP as you'll get something to learn and moreover it's fun yaar.

But on a serious note confirm from ICSI itself.

Hi Ankur thanks for reply..i confirmed from cs SIRC chapter.,,...they told there is no more TOP instead i need to  do EDP n start articleship..
