Claim of credit of input tax when return filed late.
Can an assesse claim the credit of Input Tax inspite of filing late return after paying penalty under rule 7C?

Hi,
Assesse can claim the input credit only if it claimed thru retrurn within one year from the date of invoice. Paying penalty and late filing within the limits of 1 year from date of invoice doesn't affect !!!
