This car is for personal use

Can I claim insurance for this car?

No, you can't claim ITC.

No You cannot claim ITC as it is specifically BLOCKED U/s 17(5) of the CGST Act 2017.

As per section 17(5) of cgst act 2017, ITC is blocked for supplies in the nature of personal use
