i have paid self assessment tax through challan 280 but i have given assessment year 2012-2013 bt now i got to know it is 2013-2014.
please help me in this case. can i transfer the money to 2013-2014 ??
or can i eligible for refund of that money ??

Hi,
You can get your challan corrected through the Challan correction Mechanism wherein a request can be submitted withing 7 days from the deposit of the challan for correction in the assessment year with the concerned Bank Branch. For deatils you may refer the following link:

Hi Sir,
I have paid tax by e-payment so i have to contact Assessing Officer but i belong panvel,maharashtra circle. As i am staying in hyderabad can i contact AO in hyderabad or i have to contact Panvel AO ??
