the concept of appointing one MD as a whole time Chairman of the company is not understood. kindly elaborate what you intend to suggest. a Board meeting cannot appoint some one as a whole time director or chairman of the company. a board can appoint some director as it's chairman. so the action is not correct.

Can MD also be Chairman of a company.
