CENVAT CREDIT

Hi Navin,

CENVAT Credit is always your right which can be available after registration as well but as you are a new service provider you first need to estimate your turnover as if its less than 10 lakh than u dont need to pay ST and so no question of availing credit on rent because ur exempt upto that limit.

If its more than 10 lakh than pay ST and avail credit.

For taking CENVAT credit , there is no need for registration but if you are the service paovider you have to registered urself . As you told that you register himself on time & you can took the credit & adjust the same

Cenvat credit requires that the input service ( rent) is used in providing of the outpyut service which is liable for ST. The usage for the service is sufficient for credit to be available.
