Category for capital gains in ITR4

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a  short term capital gain by sell of shares of listed company on stock exchange on which STT is paid.

When I go to Capital Gains section in ITR2 it says to select one of the options. See the attached screenshot. I believe what I have tick marked is the correct one. Could the experts confirm please? Thanks and regards.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the correct category for reporting short-term capital gains from selling shares of a listed company on a stock exchange where STT has been paid. The user was unsure which option to select in the Capital Gains section of their ITR. Experts confirmed that the option for LTCG (Long Term Capital Gain) was incorrectly selected and advised choosing the option for STCG (Short Term Capital Gain) taxable under section 111A.

The selection is wrong
short term will go under 111A
STCG will be taxable u/s 111A

The one you have chosen is for LTCG (long term capital gain).

Select the one above that (111A). That is for STCG (short term capital gain)
