Cash deposited in salary account in fy 2014-15

Cash of Rs. 10 lacs deposited in my account in 2014-15 by my father in law who was trying to help us purchase a property. The deal did not materialise so we returned his money thru NEFT. I received an income tax notice for this. Replied the same through CA but ITO is not satisfied. Please suggest a solution
