I'm studying from VG modules for DT, alot many case laws have been discussed. Is this sufficient and does it cover all case laws as per institute material and is anything extra?

You should also study case laws from RTP as VG module does not cover the latest one.

In VG book - no - it contains many case laws that are required to enhance our knowledge but are not relevant for exam since these case laws are 10-12 years old.
From RTP - Yes - If you are appearing for May / November 2017 attempt, then all caselaws mentioned in Case law book/RTP from 2013 onwards are important.
