In case of change in shareholding of more than 51%  of a company , the Company cannot carry forwad loss u/s 79 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, however can the company carry forward MAT Credit after such change in shareholding?

credit of loss and MAT credit both are different things and you can not compare them

I think both sec 79 and MAT provisions are independent of each other........MAT credit can be c/f....
