Added to manufacturing account.

I'm doin the same work for Aditya Birla Fashions and I transfer anything I want to. It's called as STO (stock transfer order) when I check quantity,. Price and gst. It's also called as delivery challan if the transfer is within states. I do lots of funky stuff for good wage.

Carriage onwards is free and outwards is an expense. I don't pay for transpoter I'd becIse it's an operating expense according to my job profile, but bringing it to sale is cost of inventory but seelings costs are not my expenses. AS 2.7 suggests Purchases inward is an inventory cost. But you people who ask questions here are so vague that we can't help you at the caclub.

We want to know what is your query

so that you u will get accurate answers. I never blamed anyone, but hey MBA and B.Com doubts are awkward and half knowledged.

Charges paid to ship the finished goods to the company store from its factory!

Withing city and state it's called delivary challan. Out of state transfer it's called STO. Nothing makes a difference,  You have generate invoices and produce e-way bills by filing them. Transport charges are admin selling and distribution expenses. I'm working on Delhi for right now dealing with warehouse management.
