Carreer in big4s

Yes no. of attempts do matter.

As one said, "First Impression is the Last Impression"

You should try in some good CA firm for the time being and after gaining experience of 3-4 years, you can switch to Big 4.

Because at that time what will matter is ur work profile and experience.

agreed with him,but if you have contacts that can arrange atleast an interview,you can demonstrate your knowledge and get into the firm

Hello, satishacharaya , attempts does matter, but only for the freshers, you can join them later on, anyways, don't think of only Big Fours, who knows maybe sometime later it may be Big Fives, because of you, ALL THE VERY BEST.

If you can not differentiate between 'carrier' in Big4 and 'career' in Big4, you stand no chance. These small things do matter in Big4.

Try somewhere else.

Ability to express yourself is the prerequisite.

I know a CA who cleared all the CA Exams PEI, PEII and Final in first attempts. He was rejected in a multinational interview because of bad English.

Ability to express yourself may be one of the prerequisite but certainly not the only requirement.

I dont think your CA friend was rejected only because of his bad english, there could be some other reasons also. MNC people might have already selected the candidate through reference.......and they might have had conducted the interview for mere formalities....

CA doesnot require to be 100% fluent in english language, as they are not going to do a call centre job.

people who r fighting over his english,I think you have not noticed that its a typo,where "r" is pressed twice. Why dont u people stick to whta he has asked for,rather than fighting on your own issues. And for the record,as a professional you are expected to be expert in your field and working knowledge of English language and I think this guy has above average language skills and definitely more knowledgeable than people pointing fingers at him. Please grow up guys.

As

Spelling mistake was made in Title, but not in descripttion Paragraph.

For such mistake the response received, though which cannot be completely neglected were as

“ you stand no chance in Big4s, try somewhere else & best of luck”

This issue raised is similar to the said discussion, "where of that number of attempts matters, but not the knowledge". Though my intention was clearly expressed and was understood by all and good response were also received, but from somewhere some error which is on title, made somebody to conclude such response.

But As one said,

"First Impression is the Last Impression"

The given respose can be compared with …KKR  IPL 5 winning team,

Where for 1^st four seasons it didn’t had good product, but had high brand value. Though having good brand it was not able to win, as their main product was not able to perform as required the best. But in this season they had got good product, which performed the best and due to which they were possible to won the game.

as

Brand means : Shahrukh khan

Product means:  Players

.

So

As brand is sort of a Title only and not the main product
