CPA does have its good prospects in India as well. For example, you could get into an MNC and take care of the reporting requirements under US GAAPs…

The only hitch may be that you may not be able to use your CPA skills in an Indian company wherein , the US requirements may not be applicable.

initially i was also planning to do it..and did a lot of research...roughly your package should start around say 9 lacs..against 6.5-7

but then, you should get into an MNC for putting your CPA Skills to use which may be a bit difficult....
