Dear Professionals, I am Olwine, aged 30 yrs.  I am confused, what career to opt for at this crutial stage of my life. I am Bcom graduate. I have worked in commercial bank for 5 years as Officer. I have completed 2 modules of CS(final)  and awaiting the results of other 2 modules CS(Final) June exam. I have already registered for CMA course too. At present I am looking for suitable jobs. I am very much interested in accounting field and would like to pursue CMA along with it.  But I am not getting any opportunity in accounting field as I have banking experience. It makes me confused about what career to opt for. I am not very keen to take up cs as my career.  Dear professionals,  please help me to clear my confusion.

Agree with both the learned member above---you should explore more with your CS qualification. To be honest your future vision is not clear and it never was. That's why at this point (after clearing 2 modules of CS final) you are saying that you are not interested in CS.

Please note my simple suggestion----Simply finish your CS along with ICSI membership and pursue some recognised course which complement your banking knowledge. I am very very very sure that with CS qualification and expert knowledge in banking field through some recognised course you can really touch the real heights in your life. I would not advice you to join anything related to accounting considering the present market which is filled with unemployed CAs.

All the best
