Capital gain investment

i had one residential house which is sold in 1.12.2015 and now i want to invest that capital gain on construction of the residential house which was start on Jan 2013 now it is on the work in progress nearly 60% payment is done for remaining 40% use the capital gain of house property can i get he exemption of the house property
