A merchant exporter wants to buy some goods from a manufacturer without excise on ct1. He doesn't want to share the importer details with the manufacturer but the are1 has to be signed by the manufacturer and this contains importer's details .is there a way he can avoid it

First CT-1 is used only Excise purpose for Merchant Exporter.
CT-1 is issued as per annexure 17 of the Central Excise form and there is absolutely no requirment to give details of importer.
