Can shareholder demand financial statements of partnership

Can a shareholder of a listed company has right to demand financial statements of Partnership Firms and associate companies of a Listed Company, as per section 212 of Companies Act every company has to provide financial statements of subsidiaries in its Annual report and if not printed in Annual Report on demand of Shareholder.

The other question is whether Partnership Firm can be deemded as Subsidiary of the Company under Accounting Standard 21.
