Can registered taxable person claim ITC for goods for not mentioned in Registration Certificate

If a taxable person imports dates from Afghanistan ,pay IGST ,can b denied ITC ,if Registration not taken for dates/dry fruit.?

No ITC would be available to the person who has made the payment of tax under composition scheme in GST law. Please read our extensive guides on the composition scheme under GST and whether you are eligible for it.

Sir This is case of regular dealer not opted for composition
In case of regular dealer can claim itc under RCM mechanism u/s 9(3).

I think it won't be noticed so easily. I suggest that you amend the registration certificate to include these goods so that there would be no issues in the future.

You can claim ITC based on bill of entry.
No need to pay RCM on it since GST paid already at the time of import.
