Can i use wife's debit card for payment of tds under form 26qb?

My wife and myself are the joint owners for the apartment we booked in 2015. The amount is mortgaged through a bank for which I am an account holder. Now for each disbursement by the bank, I am supposed to pay a TDS of 1% ( Form 26QB).

Is it ok if I use my wife's card for paying the TDS. The card I own is not accepted by the tin-nsdl website.

Yes, you can pay with your wife debit card.

No problem,,main thing is payment, not the modes.accounting in your head is sufficient
Yes... You can. Keep the records in Your hand.

Thanks a lot Mr. Varma, Mr. Raj Kamal and Mr. Raja

Also, once TDS paid using my wife's card, will the Form16B be reflected in my wife's name or mine?
