Can I offset real long term capital gains against long term capital loss from sale of shares?

I have claimed long term capital loss in tax year 2022. This was due to a private investment made in shares (not listed) of a small private company.

In 2023, I am planning to sell a real estate asset purchased in the year 2000.

Can I offset the capital gains from selling this real estate asset against the capital loss from the sale of shares?
