Can i maintain my own accounts for sole prptrship firm?

Please do not misguide poor fellow. A single mistake can put him in trouble. Ask your CA to help you.

For your problem, I can suggest you to go for a part time accountant who handles taxes properly with less salary. Mistakes in tally can be rectified but mistakes in GST returns - costs you heavy.

Even we accountants are handling returns, TDS, Profesional Tax in our Companies without Auditors. So, I think you can go for a full time or part time Accountant according to your Business.
