The PAN I got for the LLP is of Company status. Can I change the status from company to LLP through PAN correction form or do I need to surrender the PAN and apply for a new one?

Apply for a new one as there will be change in the fourth alphabet of current PAN card
surrender and apply for new
Pan cannot be surrendered in normal course for that you need to submit requisite documents . so better apply for pan correction that will be easy. or else you can obtain fresh pan and after that apply before your jurisdictional AO to deactivate the pan with company status
