Can a HUF be created after MY FATHERS DEATH

Legally. it is not possible.        

Why so , isn't there some provision which can allow a widow Or a child  to create HUF even after the death of his father/ husband.........

The person is not alive, how can he make transactions ??? So, legally it's not possible now .............. Dinesh

Yes I know that he is not alive now , but as they say that a HUF is automatically created after marriage , and plus isn't there any provision which state that a huf can be created by a widow and her children ,in which  me acting as karta after my father's death....inshort if your father has died without creating his huf this doesnot means that there is no family left behind after his death...

Recently checked female also can be karta of HUF

So can I create HUF with only my mother name and PAN as karta and childern as HUF members?

Please note , without my Father as he is no more 

But using my mother as karta 

Please guide if anyone did this
