Can a CA sign company audit report without any remunration

No, in my view I don't think so but at the same time i don't find any provision in the law which specify the fees to be charged by an Auditor.

As per me, a CA can't sign it without remuneration. Institute isses notifications for minimum fees to be charged based on locations and populations. If the CA signing the balance sheet will not follow such guidelines then he / she will be under professional misconduct. So pls go through those notifications. Still institute has passed a circular and mentioned it has been repealed with. So it may be construed that the same requirements have been washed away.

I think this is not a query or rather we can say it is hypothetic situation.

Being a CA who  will sign the Audti Report and not ask for remuneration.

BY COMMON SENSE WE ARE ANSWERING THAT AUDITOR MAY SIGN THE AUDIT REPORT WITHOUT ANY REMUNERATION..BUT AS PER CA GUIDELINE IT IS DIFFERENT..

There is no cmpulsion for aduit fee, You can very well sign audit report of company without taking any fees.
