Campus placement

This is not correct. People get shortlisted by the companies according to companies criteria. 

For ex -Delloite is selecting or has selected people who has cleared CA final in 3 attempts.

One of my friend got selected in campusing by a renowned company after he cleared CA finals in 5 attempts.

His package is more than 9 lakhs p.a.

one of ine frind  who cler in november 2010 in his second atmpt did not get any job as he was dummy article his offer o him was 20000 per month and his family bussiness they give 10000 per month to newly hired labour in their steel plant

Yes that is true ,companies have their own policy to shortlist people.Many people whom i know was shortlisted even they cleared in 4th attempt & many people who cleared in first attempt was not shortlisted.

so there is a luck element which works.

THERE IS NO NEED TO THINK ABOUT CAMPUS FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAS DONE CA AS PER THE REQUIREMENT OF ICAI,MEANS PROPER THREE YEARS ARTICLESHIP TAKE LEAVE OF 6 MONTH AND CLEAR THE CA.FOR CA , ATTEMPT DOESNNOT MATTER .THOSE STUDENT WHO WAS ON DUMMY AND GOT RANK  ARE VALUELESS. AAJ CA KI VALUE SIRF ISE TARAH KE CA KI WAJAH SE GHATI HAI ,JO CAMPUS ME RECRUIT HO KE JATE HAI WO CA PRODESSION KA NAMM KHARAB KARTE HAI,AISE CA SE HAME NAFRAT KARNA CHAHIYE .ITS MY PERSONAL OPENION CA PROPER TRAINING KE SATH KARO ATTEMPTS DOESNOT MATTERS.

I am totally agree with Mr. Deepak that number of attempts does not matter for getting Job.

And how important is the fact that from where one gets his articleship completed??

its also doent matter from where you done ur training .a lot of my friend who has done articleship from big 4 but did not shortlisted in campus and off campus they did not able to get job becouse in off campus un ca ki demand hai jo har tarah ka kaam karte ho ,means tds vat income tax ,balance sheet preparation,accounting on tally or other software ,incometax cases etc and big 4 me ek hi department me ek hi tarah ka kam karaya jat hai due to this least chances to got job in off campus for those who comes from big 4

It is not true i cleared in 3attempts bt dn also get shortlisted by 2 companies & gne thrgh bth the interviews of the cos and now i m selected in a company & wil be joining it soon
