CA with BCom Hons Correspondence vs College Life?

Bcom 4668 views 6 replies

I've just cleared CPT, and I had also got admission in one college at DU.

Now my parents want me to focus only on CA and in order to save my time and energy they say I should leave the college and go for BCom Hons through correspondence.

Are there any of you who have done the same to pursue CA? Does leaving college life for CA make you upset in later years? Or did you feel that you did the right thing?

There is no harm in doing B.Com course through regular mode. But once you clear ipcc 1st group, you may need to join articleship for 3years full time. At that time, your college timings should not clash with articleship timings. There are many people who are doing B.com along with CA, some may be distance/regular.

I am not in favour of doing Bcom regular from college...ur parents are absolutely right..u should concentrate on your CA...otherwise u will be completing ur CA in 6 years...thr' CC mode CA will get completed within 4 years...after CA no one will going to ask frm where u did ur bcom...many of gud students r elegible for admission  in best of colleges of Delhi...even i was getting admission in Kirori Mal college..but i didn't go for it....many do like..this...CA course requires full dedication...there is no much advantage in Doing regular bcom in professional life

yes. i also agree to this opinion. even i am doing ipcc now and joined b.com thro' corres.it is  wise.

Thank you very much, I agree with your views and I've decided to go for correspondence. :-)

i too was facin the same problem as yours but've decided to go for correspondance, actually m doing BAF from ignou which is the best option as you just 've to answer 6 papers n submit 6 assignments n college life's mainly abt ur frnz n festivals which u can still enjoy.

agreed with sheena..i too completed my Bcom AF frm IGNOU
