Hey Gokul! Here's what you need to know about your situation:
Since you passed Group 2 of IPCC in May 2019 but didn’t register for the Final course on time, and your IPCC registration has now lapsed on the SSP portal, you’ll have to:
-
Apply for Revalidation of Registration:
ICAI allows students to revalidate their registration if they have missed the deadline but still want to appear for exams. You need to apply for revalidation of your Final course registration through the Self Service Portal (SSP). This usually involves paying a late fee.
-
Check Eligibility and Scheme:
Since you were under the old scheme, and given the timeline, ICAI may ask you to convert to the revised scheme or follow specific guidelines applicable to your case. Make sure you check with ICAI announcements for any scheme conversion deadlines or instructions.
-
Contact ICAI Regional Office (RO):
If there is any technical issue on SSP or confusion about your lapsed status, contact your Regional Office or ICAI student support immediately. They can guide you on the exact documents or forms needed.
-
Prepare Documents:
Keep your IPCC marksheet, articleship completion certificate, and any previous registration details ready in case they are needed for the revalidation process.
What you should do next:
-
Log in to the ICAI SSP portal and check the “Revalidation” or “Re-registration” option for the Final course.
-
If it’s not visible or you face issues, write an email to ICAI or your Regional Office for guidance.
-
Make sure you complete the revalidation before the registration deadline for the Nov 2021 Final exam.
