Guys for those of you who are not sure whether to appear for single or both groups...just consider this case.
I got an exemption in FR in Nov 15 and for may 16 I had the option of appearing either of the groups or both groups.
Considering the paucity of time I adopted a strategy wherein I focused more on the first group and prepared the second group enough so that I can at least score 40 in each of the group 2 subjects.
My strategy seems to have worked as I scored
249 in grp 1 and 165 in for 2 aggregating to 414 and cleared CA finals.
So before making your choice just consider the possibility that three months are enough to clear both groups if you plan accordingly.
